    Review Methodology

How we evaluate products through a founder-focused, anti-hype lens.

    Our Evaluation Criteria

We don't review products in a vacuum. We evaluate them based on how they perform in the chaos of a real workday. If a tool requires too much friction to use or relies on exaggerated claims, it doesn't make the cut.

    Problem-Solution Fit

Does this product actually solve a meaningful problem for a founder, or is it a solution looking for a problem? We prioritize high-leverage tools.

    Practical Usability

A perfect protocol is useless if it doesn't fit into a 12-hour workday. We assess how easily a product integrates into a busy, unpredictable schedule.

    Quality & Formulation

Whether it's the build quality of a standing desk or the ingredient profile of a supplement, we look for premium, durable, and clean construction.

    Clarity of Claims

We have zero tolerance for biohacking theater. We evaluate whether a brand's marketing matches reality, penalizing exaggerated or misleading health claims.

    Brand Reputation

We look at the company behind the product. Do they have a track record of consistency, good customer support, and ethical business practices?

    Price to Value

Premium products cost money, and we don't mind paying for quality. But we rigorously assess whether the price tag is justified by the actual performance and longevity.

    What Every Review Includes

Our reviews are designed to help you make a fast, informed decision without wading through fluff.

    Tradeoffs & Limitations

Every product has a downside. We clearly state the compromises, required maintenance, or hidden friction points.

    Who It's Best For

We specify the exact type of founder, operator, or workspace setup that will get the highest ROI from the product.

    Who It's Not For

Just as importantly, we tell you when to skip a product if it doesn't align with your specific needs or constraints.
